PC Online Banking
Americans loves fast and easy; it is our way of life.. The world has become virtually flat, there are few barriers anymore. This makes our lives even faster and every single second seems to count. Online Banking is now common at almost every financial institution in America or soon will be. If a bank does not offer online banking it will soon parish. Online banking was designed for speed, convenience, accuracy and safety. 100,000′s of Americans are using it. Are You??
As with all new ideas, especially the pc and other electronic devices, Americans are making the move to online banking. We are finding it faster and more convenient to bank online from our home computers.
Statistics show that Americans are using online banking and are saving money and time. For example, 40 million Americans used online banking as their main way to deal with their finances in 2005 according to a research study done by comsore in April of 2006. As you know many statistics are way behind, so the figure will be much higher for 2009 and even higher in 2010. The only thing that will stop or slow this advance is the collapse of the internet and that is not likely to happen anytime soon. As I am writing this my own bank has just done a large update and a new customer interface giving faster and more secure service. My personal banker tells me that hundreds sign up everyday.
The statistics themselves show that Americans are quickly adapting to online banking and especially the bill pay feature. The only problem that we as Americans want to know more about is the safety precautions that our banks are taking to secure our sensitive customer information.
Many Americans each year are victims of identity fraud; and it seems like they can’t get a break when it comes to this problem. Americans are always concerned about their safety, especially when it comes to giving out sensitive information over the internet.
The internet is full of spy ware and viruses that exist for the sole purpose of trying to get information from you. This is the main reason why many Americans are staying away from the online banking features available and instead are still using either telephone banking or going down to their local branch to keep a track of their accounts and transferring money. However with each passing day the security systems in pc online banking become better and better. Now in almost 2010 there are very few if any reported security problems with online banking.
